Embryo using human cells To learn more the development

That is why NEMO Kennislink has chosen a different term for the time being: embryo models. Scientists use the word model to mean: something that is not the same but can be used for research into the original. The term embryo model is more neutral than fake embryo. That does not mean that the discussion about the name has ended. We will never completely escape framing in this project.

What status do they have what is it actually Is it a clump of cells or a mini-human Do we have to protect it legally What rules should apply to this kind of research We engage in conversation during various dialogues and report on this. We write background articles about the research and speak to all kinds of experts. One of the phases that the researchers would like to know more about is the period in embryonic development in which cells are sealed for their fate. They become skin cell or kidney cell.
